What we do
- Island 2000 works for the whole of the Isle of Wight, there isn’t a parish or a ward where we haven’t worked with local communities to try and create a better environment.
- Island 2000 has helped over 100 Island schools, community and voluntary groups and every year extends its programme of support.
- Island 2000 coordinates over 1000 hours of volunteer time improving public places and spaces around the Island every year.
Even though Island 2000 is not really a public service we receive over 200 calls for help from the public every year and we do our best to follow up every one to a happy ending.
